A Belle Époque sapphire, diamond and enamel choker, Lucien Gautrait, Léon Gariod, French, circa 1900. Designed as a series of oval openwork foliate plaques, decorated with white enamel, each centring an oval-cut sapphire, within a table-cut diamond surround, spaced by similarly designed square and oval links; signed L. Gautrait; with makers mark for Léon Gariod, with French assay mark; mounted in eighteen karat gold.
