Necklace Collection :
Made by the famous Danish goldsmith Torben Hardenberg, this necklace is part of a demi-parure which also includes a pair of matching earrings, and was presented in 1992 to Queen Margrethe II of Denmark by her husband, prince Henrik, on the occasion of their silver wedding birthday. It consists of three strands of pearls interspersed by seven gold motifs adorned with spinel (or ruby ?) beads, in a style that is reminiscent of the Hindu jewels.
